Balde is a nice addition but we need, above all else, a proven goalscorer.
It feels like Billic has got his man in Hernandez, but now that tight arse Sullivan has swooped in on his Millennium Falcon and blown away the Mexican Darth Vadar of high wages.

Sullivan has come out and said 2 attacking players...asssumeldy Hernandez and Arnautovic.
Not sure how Balde fits in, unless it's with a view to replacing the outbound Feghouli?
Can we assume that Hernandez will be out only out and out striker signing, and if he gets injured or needs a rest, we'll be relying on Antonio, Arnie, maybe this Balde, Ayew, or even Sakho/Carroll to fill the void?

Bloody hell. People moan that the owners are unambitious and don't want to spend money. And then when they go large and offer for a top player people moan and say they are just faking and doing it to placate fans knowing player won't come.

Serie A giants on red alert as West Ham match asking price for Serie A star
Serie A giants AC Milan, Inter and Juventus have all been linked with a move for Lazio winger Keita Balde. The Senegalese striker doesn’t want to extend his expiring contract with Lazio given that some of the best Italian clubs have shown their interest in him.
Keita is reported to have reached an agreement with Juventus, whilst AC Milan have agreed the player’s price-tag with Lazio but have failed to close a deal with the player’s entourage.
As for Inter, the nerazzurri have recently entered the race to sign the 22-year-old as the Serie A giants are preparing for life after Ivan Perisic who is pushing to move to Manchester United.
According to Sky Sport, West Ham have made an opening bid to sign the product of Barcelona academy.
The Hammers are reported to have matched Lazio’s asking price (in the region of €30 million) offering € 27.5 million plus € 5 million in bonuses. If Lazio will accept the Hammers’ offer, Slaven Bilic will be tasked with the job of persuading the 22-year-old to move to East London. Keita has 16 goals and five assists in 31 Serie A appearances in the 2016/17 campaign.
